Job summary

WSP is seeking a BIM Technician to join our team in Pasig. The candidate will develop general arrangement drawings and RC detailing, ensuring compliance with project briefs and WSP QA procedures.

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential, with experience in BIM360 and ProjectWise highly valued. The role requires strong teamwork, accurate quantity estimates for reinforcement bars, and the ability to coordinate across disciplines within BIM workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Knowledgeable in Revit Structures & AutoCAD.
• Dynamo and coding skills are a plus.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Applications; good English communication.
• Experience in structural modelling and detailing of reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Experience in BIM360, BIM360 Docs, ProjectWise.

Responsibilities

• Prepare general arrangement drawings and RC detailing with bar bending schedule.

• Prepare GA, reinforced concrete and structural steelwork drawings.
• Operate Revit per company standards and BIM workflow.
• Ensure drawing sheets meet project requirements and formats.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and team members.
• Follow BIM Execution Plan and collaborate per BIM project workflow.
• Export DWF and other formats for collaboration.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare general arrangement drawings and rc detailing with bar bending schedule.
• Ensures drawings comply with specific project design brief instructions and all details are being carried out correctly to WSP Standards and QA Procedures.
• Conduct reinforcement bar quantity estimates.
• Able to prepare structural General Arrangement, reinforced concrete and structural steelwork drawings
• Technical Revit operations in accordance with company requirements and standards.
• Ensure the format of the drawing sheets are set up to cater for individual projects specific requirements
• Ensures construction documents accuracy based on discipline.
• Collaborates and coordinates with other disciplines
• Adheres to BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
• Follows BIM content standards and development procedures.
• Prints drawing set for professional team and attends discipline reviews.
• Exports DWF and other formats for collaboration internally and externally.
• Ability to work within a team and produce high quality work.
• Perform quality drawing checks as required
• Inform team leads and clients about the progress and status of work
• Assisting more senior BIM Technicians and Coordinators with the analysis of tasks and problems.
• Building an understanding of basic discipline-based design concepts.
• Participate in training activities to extend and share own knowledge.
• Gain an appreciation for the variety of project technology tools required for digital project delivery.
• Comply with all role specific SHEQ obligations.
• Develop and awareness of project delivery risk and mitigation techniques.
• Other duties as directed, to help the company provide outstanding service to its customers

Qualifications:

• Technical competence commensurate with a BIM Technician’s role.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or any related course
• Knowledgeable in Revit Structures & AutoCAD
• Skills in Dynamo and coding is a plus
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Applications — Good English communication Skills
• Experience in structural modelling and detailing of reinforced concrete and steel structures
• Experience in BIM360, BIM360 docs Project wise
• The ability to work as a team player, working with the wide variety of personalities and situations whilst remaining professional and outcome focused.
• The ability to work independently and to communicate clearly with clients, management team, office team members, colleagues and consultants.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow up targets and deadlines to achieve outcomes.
• Conversant in most manners of Construction Methodology & Project Delivery methods.
• Active participation in IQBE initiatives and Discipline Plans.
• Develops an understanding of WSP's organisational capability and how to access it.
• Knowledge of relevant systems, procedures and practices.
• Aware of organisational approach to risk management, ethics and safety.
