Job summary

Valeo is hiring a Process/Manufacturing Engineering Engineer/Technician in San Luis Potosí to lead the industrialization of new production lines and improve overall production efficiency. The role includes designing and validating equipment, defining acceptance criteria, and coordinating trials and reporting.

You will partner with suppliers to develop equipment, participate in SPV workshops, and monitor QCDM metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrialization of new P1 production lines and improve production efficiency (machine & Direct Labor).
• Design, validate, and qualify equipment and lines; set acceptance criteria and perform pre- and post-acceptance.
• Plan trials on production lines and deliver trial reports for decision making.
• Collaborate with suppliers to develop equipment and lines; participate in SPV workshop and QRQC.
• Monitor QCDM performance and pursue cycle-time reductions to optimize investments, material and labor costs.
• Update routing in the information system with SPV validation; support production technicians with training and problem solving.
• Ensure compliance with Valeo safety and environmental procedures; maintain 5S and report issues.
