Job summary

Sumitomo Electric USA, Laguna area, seeks an engineer to join our Process Automation team. A degree in engineering is required, preferably Mechatronics, Electronics or Mechanical; licensed engineers are a plus.

At least 1 year of experience in process automation, innovation, project planning and management is required. Knowledge of PLC, AutoCAD/SolidWorks/SketchUp, and 7QC tools is preferred. Excellent analytical and detail-oriented mindset with MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree; preference for Mechatronics, Electronics or Mechanical; licensed engineer is a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience in process automation, innovation, project planning and management.
• Knowledgeable in FPC manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Basic PLC knowledge.

• Detail-oriented with analytical and critical thinking.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any course in Engineering preferably (Mechatronics, Electronics or
  Mechanical Engineer), licensed engineer is an advantage.
• With at least 1-year relevant experience in Process Automation, Innovation, Project
  Planning and Management activity.
• Knowledgeable in FPC manufacturing processes is an advantage
• Basic knowledge with PLC.
• Knowledgeable in Auto CAD/Solid works/Sketchup.
• Knowledge in Problem Solving Tools such as 8D, FMEA, OCAP, DOE, 7QC Tools.
• Keen to detail, work with minimum supervision, with good analytical and critical
  thinking.
• Middle to expert level in MS Office (Power point and Excel).
