Job summary

A global financial services firm is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead technical developments on the Fusion platform. This role involves providing technical leadership in a new team, utilizing modern Full-Stack technologies like React and Typescript. Candidates should have extensive experience in software development, both front-end and back-end. The position is based in Metro Manila, Philippines, and offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology alongside AWS to deliver innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable industry experience as a Full Stack or Front/Backend Engineer in Typescript.
• Experience working within an Agile Cross‑functional delivery team.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical leader and developer on the Fusion team.
• Provide technical oversight of the analysis and design for assigned projects.
• Support the team through defining scope and guiding estimation of work.

Skills

Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and Typescript

Proficient in React, Redux, ReactQuery

Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks - React

Proficiency in backend programming languages (Typescript and/or C#/Java)

Strong database knowledge (SQL and NoSQL)

Knowledge of version control systems (Git)

Experience with microservices architecture

Experience with AWS (AWS Lambda, AWS Fargate, etc.)

Experience with Terraform
