Auctus Coaching in the Philippines is seeking a proactive PR & Communications professional to drive media relations for Australian audiences. You will craft compelling press releases, tailor pitches, and coordinate high-profile spokespeople across podcasts, radio, and print.

This role offers a 90-day sign-on bonus for high performers and requires fast, autonomous work with excellent English. You will build relationships with journalists, maintain newsroom assets, and ensure consistent coverage

About the Role

You will be the engine room of our public relations and communications strategy. You will drive media relations across Australia, pitch timely property market data, secure high-profile guest features for our leadership team, and keep our newsroom assets running seamlessly.

This role requires a fast worker who thrives on autonomy, understands what makes a story newsworthy, and has the confidence and verbal English fluency to jump on a phone or video call with Australian journalists, producers, and editors when an opportunity strikes.

Key Responsibilities

• Media Pitching & Press Releases: Draft and coordinate compelling press releases, tailored media pitches, market trend commentary, and newsroom updates that cut through crowded inboxes.

• Media Outreach & Relationship Building: Actively research journalists, editors, and media outlets across Australian national, metropolitan, and regional media; build, update, and manage our media outreach database.

• Spokesperson & Podcast Management: Find and coordinate media opportunities for our founders and key spokespeople across business/property podcasts, radio, TV, and print; research and source high-caliber guest speakers for our internal podcast.

• Award Submissions: Coordinate and prepare high-standard award submissions across individual leadership, business growth, workplace culture, innovation, and industry categories.

• Boilerplates & Executive Bios: Maintain, update, and polish founder bios and company boilerplates across short, medium, and long formats for press-ready distribution.

• Case Studies & Proof Points: Coordinate client case studies by gathering relevant business metrics, property performance data, and client stories to keep marketing and PR collateral current.

• Media Assets Library: Manage and curate our group brand assets, media kits, and high-resolution founder photography for fast press deployment.

• PR Database & Coverage Tracking: Archive all media clippings, interviews, quotes, and features in a centralized database to track PR performance, update our newsroom, and provide ready-to-use content for the wider marketing team.

• Cross-Team Repurposing: Collaborate closely with the social media coordination team to ensure PR features, media quotes, and broadcast clips are strategically repurposed across digital channels.

• AI-Assisted PR Workflows: Use AI tools to accelerate research, early drafting, and administrative PR workflows while maintaining human editorial voice and accuracy.

• Execution Support: Deliver fast, dependable administrative and coordination support across the PR and marketing function.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 2 - 3 years of proven experience in PR, communications, media relations, or journalism. Prior experience supporting Australian, UK, or international clients is strongly preferred.

• PH-Based & Remote Ready: Must be based in the Philippines with a reliable home-office setup and self-starter attitude.

• Language & Communication: Exceptional written and spoken English. You must be able to craft sharp, hook-driven pitches and comfortably speak directly with Australian media professionals over the phone or Zoom.

• Tools: Proficiency in Notion (primary CRM and project workspace) and familiarity with modern media databases or tracking platforms.

• Work Ethic & Style: Highly proactive, fast execution speed, and meticulous attention to detail. You are someone who spots gaps, solves problems before being asked, and meets tight newsroom deadlines.

• Tech-Forward: Comfortable using AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity) to support drafting, desk research, and workflow optimization.
