Job summary

RecruitNest Consulting is seeking a Senior BI Technical Lead to head the BI practice within the Business Insights and Analytics team. You will drive the development of BI solutions, partner with stakeholders to deliver reporting needs, and provide technical guidance across BI projects.

You will lead Power Platform-based dashboards, apps, and automation while building data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 7+ years in Business Intelligence with Power Platform expertise.
• PL-300 and PL-900 certifications required.
• Experience mentoring or guiding others in BI projects.
• Strong dashboards, reports, and reporting automation experience.
• Knowledge of SQL, ETL, DAX, Dataflows, and semantic models.
• Experience with Azure, Data Lake, QlikView, Python or R is an advantage.
• Agile/Scrum and project management is a plus.
• Experience supporting global business teams is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

About the Job:

We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Technical Lead to join our client's Business Insights and Analytics team. In this role, you will lead the development of Business Intelligence solutions, work closely with stakeholders to deliver reporting and analytics requirements, and provide technical guidance across BI projects. You will drive reporting automation, improve data processes, and deliver meaningful insights that support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend reporting solutions.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, Power Apps, and Power Automate solutions.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, data models, and ETL processes.
• Manage BI platforms, including system maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Develop reports and dashboards that provide actionable business insights.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and quality assurance for BI solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to BI team members and project teams.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and reporting standards are followed.
• Research and implement new technologies and best practices to improve BI solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence, with strong expertise in Power Platform, especially Power BI.
• Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst Associate) and PL-900 (Power Platform Fundamentals) certifications are required.
• Proven experience providing technical guidance or mentoring.Strong experience in developing dashboards, reports, and reporting automation.
• Knowledge of SQL, ETL processes, DAX, Dataflows, and Semantic Models.
• Experience with Azure, Data Lake, QlikView, Python, or R is an advantage.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum and project management is a plus.
• Experience supporting global business teams is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
