You will work with the Maintenance team to install, diagnose, and service power plant systems ensuring safe, reliable operation.

You will study plans, perform tests, and document work while contributing to community impact and team development in a purpose-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational Degree (3 year) in Electrical Technology course.
• At least 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance in a power plant or heavy industry.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance and testing of electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains and repairs electrical instruments, equipment and fixtures: power plant electrical circuits, motors, generators, transformers, lights, appliances, breakers, protective relays and switch gears in compliance with electrical codes, standards or regulations.
• Diagnoses electrical malfunctions using electrical test equipment and tools to determine the cause of the malfunction. Trouble shoots to correct the problem or recommends appropriate corrective action.
• Studies electrical plans and specifications to determine correct installation and/or repairs.
• Conducts preventive and predictive maintenance activities on identified plant equipment.
