Job summary

We invite applications for a postdoctoral position in theoretical condensed matter physics within 2DQUEST — Quantum Engineering in Superconducting Graphene for Topological Qubits, a QuantERA 2025 project.

The successful candidate will join the Madrid team led by Tobias Stauber, collaborating with theoretical and experimental groups at Chalmers University of Technology and the universities of Göttingen and Regensburg.

Qualifications

• Applicants should hold a PhD in physics or a related discipline by the starting date, with a strong background in theoretical condensed matter physics and scientific programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop many-body models of correlated and superconducting phases.
• Contribute to the FORGE framework for large-scale simulations of graphene nanoribbons and junctions.
• Investigate quantum transport in close dialogue with experimental partners; publish results and participate in scientific meetings.
