Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is seeking a Store Cashier for Gaisano Grand Mandaue North (GGMN). This role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of cashiering experience, preferably with POS systems.

You will handle payments, operate registers, and ensure accurate transactions while delivering quality customer service. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, detail-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or any 4-year course.
• Has background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year/s experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
