Job summary

MR DIY Philippines in Maco, Davao de Oro is seeking a friendly cashier to join our store team. You will perform basic math to collect payments, operate registers, scanners, scales and card terminals, and ensure accurate pricing with a receipt for every customer.

You will balance the cash drawer, generate sales reports, accept payments, handle exchanges and refunds promptly, maintain a clean checkout area, and provide quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or any 4 year course.
• Has background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision
• Minimum of 1 year in a similar industry
• Average communication and people skills
• Computer literate
• Willing to work in Maco Davao De Oro (ZMCD)

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
