Job summary

You will operate registers, scanners, and card terminals, balance cash, and issue receipts while maintaining a tidy checkout area. A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field plus at least 1 year of cashiering experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess bachelor's degree (Business or any 4-year course).
• Has background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work in Carmen Bohol.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balance the cash register and generate reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accept payments, ensure prices/quantities are accurate and provide receipts.
• Handle exchanges and refunds quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
