Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is seeking a reliable cashier to join our team in Bacolod. The role focuses on accurate transactions, customer service, and maintaining an orderly checkout area.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (or any 4-year course), at least 1 year in cashiering with POS experience, and strong computer skills. Training will cover registers, card terminals, and daily reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or any 4-year course.
• Experience in cashiering with POS preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work in RTM- Citymall Golden Fields Bacolod, Negros Occidental.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balance cash register and generate reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
