Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is hiring a Store Cashier for Sto. Tomas, Davao Del Norte. You will handle payments, operate registers, and ensure accurate pricing and receipts for every customer.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, cashiering experience (POS preferred), and strong customer service skills. You will balance cash, maintain a neat checkout area, and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or any 4-year course.
• Background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balance the cash register and generate reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accept payments, ensure prices and quantities are correct, and provide receipts.
• Handle exchanges and refunds efficiently.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
