Job summary

MR DIY Philippines in Pasay City, Metro Manila, WMAL, is seeking a Store Cashier for W Mall (WMAL). The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree (Business or any 4-year course) and experience in cashiering, preferably with POS systems, to deliver quality customer service.

Responsibilities include handling payments, operating registers and terminals, balancing the cash drawer, issuing receipts, and processing exchanges or refunds while keeping the checkout area neat and accurate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or any 4-year course.
• Experience in cashiering, preferably POS.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Willing to work at W Mall.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
