Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is seeking a Store Cashier for Puregold Novaliches to handle payments, operate registers, and maintain accurate cash operations. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and experience in cashiering with POS systems, strong customer service, and reliable, detail-oriented working style.

Responsibilities include processing payments, card transactions, change, receipts, refunds, and maintaining a clean checkout area. Local store presence is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a bachelor's degree (Business or any 4-year course).
• Background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Willing to work in Puregold Novaliches.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math to collect payments and give change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and card terminals.
• Balance cash drawer and generate reports for sales.
• Accept payments, ensure prices/quantities are accurate, and provide receipts.
• Handle exchanges and refunds quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer and keep checkout area orderly.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
