Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is seeking a Store Cashier for Amar Plaza Bacolod to manage checkout processes and ensure accurate payments. You will handle payments, issue receipts, and ensure pricing and stock accuracy at the point of sale.

The role requires a dependable, customer‑minded individual with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), retail cashiering experience, strong communication, and basic computer skills. Training provided for POS systems and card terminals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or any 4 year course.
• Has background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Has the ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year/s experience in a similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
