Installation and Maintenance

• Install Plumbing Systems: Install and assemble pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances for water, gas, and drainage systems in new buildings or renovations.
• Maintain Plumbing Systems: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent issues, such as leaks or blockages.
• Install Fixtures: Install sinks, toilets, faucets, water heaters, and other plumbing fixtures.

Repairs and Troubleshooting

• Repair Plumbing Issues: Diagnose and repair problems with plumbing systems, including leaky pipes, clogged drains, and faulty appliances.
• Troubleshoot Malfunctions: Use plumbing tools and equipment to locate and identify issues such as leaks, blockages, or water pressure problems.
• Fix Leaks and Blockages: Repair or replace faulty pipes, fittings, valves, and other components to resolve leaks, clogs, or pressure problems.

Pipe Fitting and Pipe Laying

• Cut, Thread, and Join Pipes: Cut, thread, and install pipes made of various materials such as PVC, copper, and galvanized steel.
• Lay Pipes: Work with underground piping systems, laying new pipes for plumbing systems or rerouting existing lines.
• Test Piping Systems: Test installed systems for leaks or proper water flow, ensuring that pipes are secure and functional.

Educational Requirements
