JOB SUMMARY The Plant Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment, utilities, facilities, and production support systems. The role drives operational excellence through proactive maintenance strategies, equipment optimization, plant infrastructure development, capital project execution, and continuous improvement initiatives that support productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and safety objectives. The Plant Engineer acts as the technical lead for plant engineering activities and works closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, and external contractors to ensure sustainable plant performance while supporting current and future business growth.
Education Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related discipline.
Professional Engineer (PRC Licensed Engineer) required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in plant engineering, maintenance engineering, manufacturing engineering, or facility management. Experience in cable manufacturing, extrusion, plastics, metal, automotive, electronics, or related industries preferred. Experience managing utilities, facility systems, and capital projects. Proven experience in equipment reliability and maintenance improvement programs.
