Capitol Steel Corporation is seeking a Plant Electrical Engineer to lead design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems in our steel rolling mill. You will drive reliability, safety, and energy efficiency while guiding cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes project leadership, diagnostics, and documentation, with exposure to advanced automation and data-driven processes in a manufacturing setting. Strong collaboration with expat consultants is highlighted.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional license as a Registered Electrical Engineer is an advantage.
• 3+ years of experience in plant/manufacturing settings preferred; strong project management background.
• Strong knowledge of electrical system design, maintenance, and safety compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, planning, and implementation of electrical systems for reliable operation.
• Analyze and optimize electrical systems to improve efficiency and reduce energy use.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
• Lead troubleshooting initiatives and provide technical guidance for complex issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with plant operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and energy efficiency requirements.
• Prepare reports, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Evaluate diagnostic tools and implement real-time monitoring systems.
• Coordinate with consultants/contractors to meet project goals and timelines.
