Job summary

Franke is seeking an experienced plant finance leader to drive cost management and financial performance across the facility. You will partner with Production, Logistics, Quality, Warehouse, and Engineering to optimize costs, lead budgeting and forecasting, and supervise month-end close and inventory valuation.

The role requires 10+ years in plant finance/controlling, strong analytical skills, ERP and Excel proficiency, and excellent communication with stakeholders. CPA/Master’s degree a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy is required; CPA or Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Minimum 10+ years in plant finance/controlling with strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in ERP and Excel; excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Production, Logistics, Quality, Warehouse, Engineering to drive cost optimization.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for plant operations.
• Monitor and analyze COGS, overhead, scrap, and inventory performance.
• Perform month-end closing activities including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with revenue recognition and internal controls.
• Oversee inventory management, stock turnover and counts.
• Manage fixed assets accounting and support audits.
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses for leadership.
• Coordinate monthly cut-off activities with Operations and Sales.

About the job

Responsible for cost management and financial performance across the plant through budgeting, reporting, month-end closing, and variance analysis. Partners with Production, Logistics, Quality, Warehouse, Engineering, and Corporate Finance to drive cost efficiency, ensure compliance, and support strategic business decisions.

• Partner with Production, Logistics, Quality, Warehouse, and Engineering teams to drive cost optimization and efficiency initiatives
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for plant operations
• Monitor and analyze COGS, overhead, scrap, and inventory performance
• Perform month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and inventory valuation
• Ensure compliance with revenue recognition and internal control policies
• Oversee inventory management, including stock turnover and physical counts
• Manage fixed assets accounting and support statutory audit requirements
• Prepare management reports and financial analysis for leadership review
• Coordinate monthly cut-off activities with Operations and Sales

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accountancy required; CPA/ Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience: 10+ years in plant finance/controlling
