Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical or Technology graduate major in Electrical or Electronics.
• 1–2 years in reliability lab operations and full electrical testing experience.
• Knowledge of Automotive Electronics Council (AEC) and JEDEC standards.
• Strong scheduling and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance to immediate superior in reliability testing programs.
• Develop accurate and timely schedules for reliability and electrical testing.
• Evaluate reliability test requests for proper scheduling and resources.
• Communicate timelines and issues to requestors; participate in meetings and visits.
• Adhere to Reliability Laboratory safety SOPs and support EMS audits.
• Pursue trainings to enhance capability and apply learnings to the team.
• Support KPI-driven activities to meet departmental goals.
• Coordinate with Test Capacity Planning for test system time and resource allocations.
• Collaborate with Reliability Supervisors for test schedules.

The Opportunity

The Planner, Reliability, is responsible for the scheduling, coordination, and logistical management of all reliability and stress-testing activities within the Reliability Laboratory. This role ensures that semiconductor components are queued, tested, and tracked in full compliance with automotive (AEC-Q100) and industrial standards. The Planner will act as the key coordinator between Product Engineering, Quality, and Lab Technicians to optimize chamber/equipment utilization and meet product qualification timelines.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for providing support and assistance to immediate superior concerning reliability testing activities and programs
• Responsible for providing an accurate and timely schedule for reliability testing and full electrical testing.
• Evaluates reliability test requests with regards to proper scheduling of testing and resources.
• Communicate to requestors on reliability related requests / issues / timelines, participate in meeting and discussion, assist in customer visit.
• Complies with Reliability Laboratory safety SOPs. Supports Environmental Management System with respect to their job.
• Engages in new trainings to enhance capability in and out of the job function, applies new learning to support the team.
• Performs task in support to identified Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to meet departmental goals.
• Responsible for coordination with Test Capacity Planning for electrical test system time and allocation of Reliability Qualifications and Reliability Monitors programs.
• Work closely with Reliability Supervisors (Stress and Electrical Tests) for the reliability tests and electrical tests schedules.

What You Will Need

• Technical or Technology Graduate Major in Electrical or Electronics
• 1-2 years in same/related position, with experience in Reliability Laboratory operation and full electrical testing.
• Knowledge in Reliability Stress Testing and Process
• Knowledgeable in Automotive Electronics Council (AEC) and Joint Electron Device Engineering Council (JEDEC) industry standards
