You will issue piping material specifications and data sheets, review vendor offers, maintain project technical files, and ensure compliance with national and international codes and standards.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering with 8–12 years’ experience in major oil/gas projects as Piping Material & Specification Engineer in 3D detailed engineering.
• Extensive expertise in developing piping material specification.
• Fully knowledgeable about National & International codes and standards for this discipline.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality output for piping materials and specs.
• Be aware of project schedule and deadlines.
• Issue piping material specifications and data sheets.
• Evaluate vendor offers for piping components.
• Maintain project technical files as per company standards.
• Identify potential technical, financial or delay risks.
