A Picker is responsible for selecting and collecting products or materials from warehouse shelves according to orders or shipment requirements. Major responsibilities include:

• Reading and understanding pick lists or order sheets
• Locating items in the warehouse efficiently
• Picking the correct quantity and quality of items
• Ensuring items are properly handled to avoid damage
• Placing picked items in designated containers or areas for packing/shipping
• Reporting any discrepancies or stock shortages
• Keeping the work area clean and organized
• Following safety guidelines and warehouse procedures
• Playing a crucial role in the warehouse supply chain by ensuring orders are accurate and ready for timely dispatch
