About the role
The Photographer is responsible for capturing high-quality photographs for company events, marketing campaigns, social media, promotional materials, internal communications, and other business requirements. The position requires strong technical photography skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to capture meaningful and visually appealing images.
Key responsibilities
- Capture high-quality photographs for company events, activities, employees, guests, facilities, products, and promotional campaigns
- Photograph corporate events such as meetings, conferences, celebrations, Sportsfest activities, and special occasions
- Take professional portraits, group photos, candid shots, and event documentation
- Set up and operate cameras, lighting, tripods, lenses, and other photography equipment
- Edit and enhance photographs using professional editing software including color correction, exposure adjustment, cropping, retouching, and background cleanup
- Organize and properly label digital photographs for easy retrieval and maintain backups of original and edited files
- Coordinate with Events, HR, Marketing, and other departments regarding photography requirements
- Collaborate with Marketing and Creative teams to develop visual content and ensure photographs align with company branding and visual identity
- Maintain and properly handle cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, memory cards, batteries, and other photography equipment
- Conduct regular equipment checks before and after shoots and report damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment
About you
- Bachelor's degree, diploma, or certificate in Photography, Multimedia Arts, Fine Arts, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience as a Photographer or in a similar position
- Strong knowledge of professional cameras, lenses, lighting, and photography equipment
- Proficient in photo-editing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, or equivalent applications
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition, color, exposure, and visual storytelling
- Creative with a good eye for detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Flexible and willing to work during events, weekends, holidays, or outside regular working hours when required
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
