Job Description
- Dispense medications: Accurately and safely dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications to patients, ensuring proper dosage and providing necessary counseling.
- Patient Care: Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, drug interactions, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain Pharmacy Operations: Oversee pharmacy inventory, order medications, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Licensure and Education: Possess a valid and current Pharmacy license from the relevant state/provincial board of pharmacy. Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
- Clinical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and drug interactions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Thorough understanding and adherence to all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice.
