Job summary

Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC) in Castelldefels, Spain, invites applications for a researcher (R2) to join the Sustainable Artificial Intelligence unit on a permanent basis. The role focuses on sustainable and trustworthy AI, implementing ML methods on CPU/GPU and emerging hardware.

The successful candidate will conduct fundamental and applied research, publish results, present at international events, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; a PhD and proven ML

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Signal Processing, or related field (at signing)
• Knowledge in machine learning theory (10 points)
• Languages ENGLISH Level Excellent

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing innovative machine learning methods for sustainable and trustworthy AI.
• Conducting experimental research on AI solutions for pervasive systems and services.
• Supporting laboratory activities, proofs-of-concept, and field trials.
• Contributing to implementation and evaluation of AI models across conventional and unconventional hardware platforms.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in project execution and validation activities.
