Job Description
- Strong embedded systems/software security experience, ideally from industries involving embedded devices, mobile applications, web platforms, IoT, industrial technology, or connected products
- Responsible for conducting penetration testing and security assessments across embedded systems, mobile, web, and cloud environments, using both white-box and black-box testing methodologies to identify vulnerabilities and security gaps
- Must have hands-on experience with security testing tools, reverse engineering, protocol analysis, traffic monitoring, data bus analysis, wireless testing, and vulnerability exploitation techniques
- Expected to understand and discuss the testing process, strategies, and methodologies used, including planning assessments, evaluating system architecture, executing tests, validating findings, and recommending remediation actions
- Will work closely with engineering teams in Manila and India, providing technical findings, ensuring security compliance, and supporting global security initiatives and process improvements
- Experience in migration testing, vulnerability validation, and security assurance during system or platform transitions is highly desirable
- Strong documentation and communication skills are required to produce detailed reports, proof-of-concepts, and actionable recommendations, while also mentoring team members and contributing to the enhancement of internal security testing frameworks
