Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a PCI Compliance & IT Risk Management Leader to join the Legal team. The role centers on supporting the organization’s PCI DSS program, evidence collection, control validation, and ongoing readiness across IT and business units.

The candidate will collaborate with IT, Security, Operations, Product, and Engineering to address compliance gaps, drive continuous improvement, and stay aligned with PCI DSS updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, Cybersecurity, IT, Risk Management, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in IT, security, risk, compliance, or audit (internships or academic projects acceptable).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow established processes and procedures.
• Exposure to PCI DSS concepts and risk management frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in PCI DSS compliance program maintenance and evidence collection.
• Validate controls, configurations, access, and logging for compliance.
• Coordinate with IT, Security, Operations, Product, and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Maintain organized PCI evidence repositories and support audits.
• Contribute to automation and readiness initiatives and stay current with PCI DSS updates.
