Job summary

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools; strong English communication.
  • Experience with Empower/Easy Pay, ADP, GlobalView, Celegro, Workday or other payroll systems.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and timely perform assigned payroll activities for the ANZ region.
  • Ensure payroll processing, salary disbursement, leave management and reporting accuracy.
  • Maintain payroll files and support compliance with taxation and regulations.
  • Provide administration for payroll systems and documentations; liaise with HR and staff.
  • Escalate issues to Team Lead and support process improvements.

Job Description
Summary:

The role will be supporting the day-to-day payroll services for the assigned region (ANZ) by processing assigned processes in compliance with established methodologies, regulations, service-level-agreements (SLA), and processes. The role will also be responsible in administering and processing relevant payroll and HR services systems activities.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Accurately and timely perform assigned activities in support to the payroll services.
  • Ensure the operational aspects of payroll processing and associated activities, including salary disbursement, overpayment recovery, leave management and reporting are accurate and delivered within appropriate timeframes and comply with relevant legislation.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the regulation alignment activities to ensure a compliant payroll processing (Taxation, Legislations, and other regulations).
  • Maintain payroll files and records, including regular filing of correspondence and forms, liaison with staff in relation to any payroll matters or queries relating to employee entitlements, liaison with management and the HR office in relation to appointment and termination of employees, leave entitlements and other payroll matters.
  • Perform assigned systems and documentations management activities to ensure compliance ang alignment to relevant payroll records and documentations.
  • Escalate and analyze identified issues and concerns to the Team Lead for timely resolution.
  • Maintain the SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required.
  • Perform simple but varied tasks in compliance with service level agreement, process, policies, and procedures.
  • Assess identified issues and collate documentation to assist in investigating and in resolving common and recurring issues.
  • Participate on assigned audit-related activities.
  • Support selected simple process improvement initiatives to streamline processes.
  • Assist with the induction of new staff including detailed briefing on payroll forms and processes.
  • Keep knowledge of legislation that affects the payroll up to date by research and subscriptions as well as attendance at various workshops and training seminars
  • Provide accurate and timely payroll information and reports to stakeholders as needed
  • Monitor and respond to Employee Centre support requests as it pertains to Payroll Services
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or at least 3 years of relevant work experience to Payroll
  • Must have experience in processing ANZ region payroll, exposure to end-to-end payroll processing is preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of HR processes and procedures
  • Must have experience in a high-volume/high-headcount payroll processing
  • Experience in using Empower/ Easy Pay, ADP, Globalview, Celegro and Workday or other Payroll Systems
  • Experience in Oracle System is a plus
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
