Job summary

Amentum seeks a Housing Porter to support a unique US Navy program on Diego Garcia. You will provide professional housing services, customer assistance, and administrative oversight for housing operations.

This role involves tenant check in/out, occupancy management, inspections, and coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure quality standards are met. Located on Diego Garcia, the position requires travel readiness and the ability to work in varied environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Must be able to travel internationally with a valid passport.
• Passport valid for a minimum of one year at hire.
• Must pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance during deployment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
• Must be able to speak, read, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service and daily support to tenants, residents, and customers.
• Assist during check in/out procedures by explaining policies and required documentation.
• Issue keys and necessary check in/out documentation to tenants.
• Assist tenants with lockouts and service-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate occupancy, reservations, and housing operation records.
• Monitor occupancy status and update records accordingly.
• Perform housing unit inspections for quality, cleanliness, and readiness.
• Receive and document building maintenance requests and coordinate with maintenance teams.
• Adhere to safety, QA, and company policies; follow SOPs.
• Support additional housing operations and administrative projects as directed by leadership.
