COUNTERPART RESOURCE MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE is seeking a dependable General Helper to support cleaning, maintenance, handyman tasks, and general service needs across client sites. You will help keep areas safe, organized, and well maintained under supervision.

The role values physical fitness, reliability, and flexibility to work at different client locations with minimal supervision, performing basic repairs and replenishing supplies as needed.

Qualifications

• At least High School Graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of offices, homes, facilities, and other assigned areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, wash, and sanitize work areas
• Clean and maintain assigned equipment, tools, and supplies
• Properly dispose of garbage and maintain cleanliness of work areas
• Replenish cleaning materials and supplies when needed
• Assist with basic repair and maintenance tasks
• Perform minor tasks such as tightening, assembling, moving, installing, and fixing basic fixtures
• Assist skilled workers or technicians during repair and maintenance activities
• Use basic hand tools and equipment properly and safely
• Report damaged facilities, equipment, tools, or other maintenance concerns to the supervisor

About the role

The General Helper provides basic support for cleaning, maintenance, handyman, and other general service requirements of the company and its clients. The position assists in keeping work areas clean, organized, safe, and properly maintained while performing assigned tasks under the supervision of the assigned supervisor or team leader.

Key responsibilities

• Willing to work at different client locations as assigned
• Basic knowledge of cleaning materials, hand tools, and maintenance is an advantage
