Job summary

SMDC is seeking a Software Developer to design, code, test, and deploy applications aligned with business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, user-friendly software while adhering to standards and best practices.

The role requires hands-on experience in web and/or mobile development, a strong grasp of coding standards, and a proactive approach to debugging and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of programming experience.
• Experience in web and/or mobile app development; knowledge of development methodologies and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy applications based on requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Analyze user needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.
• Ensure performance, security, and usability via testing and code reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, digital innovation lead, project managers, UI/UX designer, and senior developers.
• Document technical specifications, system architecture, data flows, and code changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to support operations.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and policies.
