Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group is seeking a Warehouse Operations professional to oversee day-to-day activities ensuring accurate inventory, proper receipt and dispatch, and compliant storage and handling of materials.

You will coordinate with Production, Planning, Procurement and Quality teams, maintain FAT 5S housekeeping, and support audits while driving continuous improvement in warehouse productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field with 3–4 years of experience in warehousing.
• Experience with SAP MM/WMS and material handling processes.
• Strong MIS reporting, data analysis and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities & Job Content

• Coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure smooth material flow.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through daily stock verification and cycle counting.
• Ensure proper receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of materials.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO principles and maintain inventory traceability.
• Process warehouse transactions accurately in SAP (MM/WMS).
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly warehouse MIS reports.
• Verify customer orders and coordinate dispatch as per delivery schedule.
• Monitor material picking and ensure correct material is dispatched.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality and Logistics teams.
• Ensure timely GRN, stock posting and inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain warehouse layout, storage locations and material identification.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, ISO procedures and company policies.
• Maintain 5S standards and good housekeeping within the warehouse.
• Ensure safe material handling practices and compliance with EHS requirements.
• Supervise contract labour and optimize manpower utilization.
• Support internal and external audits by maintaining required records.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve warehouse productivity and efficiency.

Professional Skills – Essential Minimum

3 to 4 year Experience with Qualification : Any bachelor's degree in mechanical / postgraduates in Any Warehouse Operations Management Inventory Control & Stock Reconciliation SAP MM / Warehouse Management System Material Handling & Storage FIFO / FEFO Management MIS Reporting & Data Analysis Documentation & Record Management Warehouse Safety & 5S Knowledge of Import / Export Documentation MS Excel & Computer Applications
