Job summary

VaynerMedia in Mexico City is seeking a Views Editor to turn raw footage into social-first content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. The role requires editing for hooks, pacing, captions and storytelling that maximizes views and retention.

You'll work with Creators, Strategists and Creative teams to continuously improve performance, staying on top of trends and editor-driven experiments.

At VaynerMedia, we're looking for a Views Editor -someone who doesn't just edit videos, but knows how to create content that earns attention.

This role is all about turning raw footage into social-first content that performs. You'll use your understanding of platform behavior, editing techniques, audience retention, and creative instincts to help our brands win across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

If you're constantly analyzing why videos go viral, studying hooks, pacing, captions, and editing styles, this role is for you.

What you'll do

Edit social-first content designed to maximize views, retention, engagement, and overall performance. Optimize videos for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Build compelling hooks, pacing, captions, transitions, and storytelling that keep audiences watching. Remix, iterate, and optimize existing content based on performance insights. Stay on top of platform updates, editing trends, creator formats, and audience behavior. Partner with Creators, Strategists, and Creative teams to continuously improve creative performance. Participate in brainstorms and contribute ideas that can improve content performance before editing begins. Use performance data and creative judgment to refine content and identify opportunities for improvement.

What we're looking for

3-5+ years editing social-first content. Strong experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Adobe Creative Suite. Deep understanding of platform algorithms and what drives attention across social media. Strong knowledge of hooks, pacing, storytelling, captions, retention, and editing for performance. Experience analyzing content performance and applying insights to future edits. Ability to remix, optimize, and improve existing content—not just edit it. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with quick turnarounds. Passion for internet culture, creators, social trends, and platform-native content. Fluent English.
