SimpleStudy, a consumer AI platform for students, is seeking a senior SEO/ASO and search marketing lead to accelerate global visibility. You will own three pillars—App Store Optimization, Search, and AI visibility—driving clicks and user acquisition with data-driven discipline.

This role is remote across Europe (Western/Continental Europe preferred), with stock options and a flexible contract type (full-time employment or independent contractor).

Qualifications

• 6-7 years of experience in SEO, ASO, or search marketing (focused on visibility and clicks).
• Comfortable with AI-driven search trends and AI overviews.
• Highly data-driven with a focus on driving clicks as a core metric.
• Excellent communication skills; collaborate with design and engineering teams.
• Leadership experience preferred but not essential.

Our small team has already helped +1.5 M students worldwide (UK, Ireland, Brazil, South Africa, and Australia) study better, and ~40-50k new students join us every week.

We are a remote team with a Lisbon office, having recently raised ~$4M seed round with incredible investors from Strava, OpenAI, and Meta.

Requirements

• 6-7 years of experience in SEO, App Store Optimization (ASO), or search marketing
• Comfortable with AI and emerging AI-driven search/visibility trends (e.g. AI overviews, LLM-based search) - ideally someone early enough in their career to be fluent in this
• Highly data-driven, focused on driving clicks as a core metric
• Excellent communication skills, able to work closely with design and engineering teams
• Team management/leadership experience preferred, not essential
• Owns three pillars: App Store Optimization, Search (SEO), and AI visibility
