We are looking for a skilled Oracle Fusion Applications Technical Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing integrations, data conversions, and custom reports within Oracle Fusion Applications. This role requires technical expertise and a comprehensive understanding of Oracle Fusions technical architecture to enhance the application's functionality and performance.

Roles and responsibilities
  • Design and develop integrations between Oracle Fusion Applications and external systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOAP, and REST APIs.
  • Work with functional teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Ensure seamless and secure data flow between applications, adhering to best practices and performance optimization.

Troubleshoot integration issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure business continuity.

Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to migrate data from legacy systems into Oracle Fusion Applications using tools like FBDI and ADFDI.

Develop scripts and processes for data transformation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

Validate and reconcile converted data, working closely with business users to ensure data integrity and compliance with business requirements.

Document data conversion processes and provide training to users on data-related functionality.

Design and develop custom reports and dashboards using Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, and Smart View to meet business needs.

Analyze reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications for report development.

Optimize reports for performance and ensure they provide accurate, timely, and relevant data insights.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to enhance reporting capabilities and resolve any issues with existing reports.

Document technical designs, integration workflows, data mapping, and report specifications.

Provide ongoing maintenance and support documentation for customized solutions.

Identify opportunities to enhance existing integrations, data processes, and reporting solutions.

Stay updated with Oracle Fusion technological advancements and integrate innovative solutions into the current technical landscape.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5-7 years of experience in technical development within Oracle Fusion Applications.

Proven experience in integrations, data conversions, and report development.

Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and familiarity with ERP, HCM, SCM.

Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, SOAP, REST APIs, and data migration tools like FBDI and ADFDI.

Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud and other integration technologies.

Competency in Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, and Smart View for report development.

Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with functional teams and stakeholders.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Oracle certifications related to development in Oracle Fusion Applications are preferred.
