Job summary

HCM Nexus is seeking an Oracle DevOps Architect to design and implement cloud infrastructure using OCI. The role focuses on automation, security, and integration across OCI services.

You will lead end-to-end OCI projects, design OCI networks, IAM, databases, or Fusion Cloud federation, and develop automation in Python, Bash, Java, or Ruby. Experience with Docker/Kubernetes/OKE is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years hands-on DevOps or cloud engineering.
• Minimum 3 end-to-end OCI implementation projects.
• Strong knowledge of OCI services: Networking, IAM, Databases, OCI Cloud Guard.

About the role

We are looking for an Oracle DevOps Architect with strong experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The role will focus on designing, implementing, and supporting cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and integration solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver solutions using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and its core services.

• Lead and support end-to-end OCI implementation projects.

• Design and manage OCI networks, IAM, databases, Oracle Integration Cloud, and Cloud Guard.

• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, Java, or Ruby.

• Work with Docker, Kubernetes/OKE, GitHub, storage solutions, and configuration management tools.

• Manage OCI Identity and Access Management, including policies, user groups, dynamic groups, and application roles.

• Support federation with Oracle Fusion Cloud.

• Design and maintain PaaS-based solutions and understand how individual components contribute to overall infrastructure and integration architecture.

• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions.

About you

• 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.

• At least 3 end-to-end implementation projects involving Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

• Strong knowledge of OCI services, including Networking, IAM, Databases, Oracle Integration Cloud, and Cloud Guard.

• Proficiency in Python, Bash, Java, or Ruby for automation scripting.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes/OKE, VBA, GitHub, storage, and configuration management.

• Strong understanding of OCI IAM, including policies, user groups, dynamic groups, and application roles.

• Experience or familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud federation.

• Strong understanding of PaaS services, infrastructure architecture, and integration architecture.

• Knowledge of Oracle SaaS Functional Architecture, SaaS customization, Groovy scripting, Oracle Fusion Security, BI Publisher, OTBI, Integration Architecture, OCI Architecture, and Oracle Integration Cloud.
