Job description

Overview

The Operations Reporting and Compliance Engineer is responsible for the accurate and timely submission of Operations Department reports and compliances based on the set standards/guidelines required for the business and by the regulatory.

Responsibilities
  • Validate operations data, analyze and process plant/unit performance on daily, weekly and monthly basis for reports and databases including Load variation, GMC Report Database and complex generation.
  • Conduct data processing, collaborating with OPS and PGPC personnel for steam wells conditions/update on a monthly basis and submit reports accordingly.
  • Collaborate with OPS, MNT and management to secure approval for unit(s) and unit(s) breakers shutdown requests from NGCP.
  • Validate weekly operations data, uploading, analyzing, processing and consolidating for the management operational report/update.
  • Conduct data processing, collaborating with OPS and maintenance for the operation of diesel engine driven generators and fire pumps fuel consumption as required for the EHS standards.
  • Collaborate with operations personnel for the monthly compilation, processing and submission of Outages Report Summary to ETS.
  • Validate chemlab weekly operations data, uploading to database, analyze and process inputs as reference for third party/contractor updates.
  • Compile Monthly and yearly DOE compliance reports for the Monthly operational and Geothermal Accomplishment Reports.
  • Validate operations data, analyze and process plant/unit outage(s) for processing, documentation and submission of outage event reports through the power plant outage report template (PPORT).
  • Gather, compile and submit on a yearly basis ERC Compliance Generation Company Management Report (GCMR) and Generation Company Information Sheet (GCIS).
  • Consolidate/compile, process data, upload to database, analyze, secure approval and submission to Grid Management Council of the standard Weekly Event and Significant Event Outages/derating Reports.
  • Compile, process and submit monthly generation losses and performance indices through the Reliability report and Insurer compliance document reports.
  • Verify, analyze, and consolidate documents for WESM compliance standards on: Monthly Preliminary Notice of Investigation - RTD (PNI - RTD) and MOR (PNI - MOR); and Daily - Daily Compliance Notice - RTD (DCN - RTD) and MOR (DCN - MOR).
  • Prepare, validate, analyze and submit monthly reports to FIN and ACT - Summary of Generation Losses and Vented Steam.
  • Coordinate, organize, update and submit reports related to the PGPC-APRI bi-monthly coordination meeting at ADAIRO.
  • Collaborate with operations personnel to validate operational data, analyze, document and correct as needed for the Plant status Operational report.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and equivalent professional engineering
  • Registered Mechanical / Electrical Engineer and other equivalent licensed engineering profession
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience
