Operational Leadership

• Oversee and direct all day-to-day operations related to solar PV system installation, maintenance, and servicing.
• Solar PV or renewable energy industry experience is preferred but not required.
• Ensure operational excellence through strategic planning, efficient resource utilization, and process optimization.
• Implement and monitor company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards to achieve project goals and compliance.
• Coordinate across departments (engineering, procurement, logistics, and HSE) to ensure smooth project execution and service delivery.
• Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, productivity, and profitability.

Team Management and Development

• Supervise, coach, and motivate Operations Supervisors, Engineers, and field personnel.
• Manage 6-15 direct reports effectively across operations teams.
• Drive professional development programs and continuous learning initiatives for technical and operations teams.
• Lead performance evaluations, succession planning, and workforce optimization to support operational goals.
• Foster a positive work culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and safety.

Project Oversight and Execution

• Ensure all installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities adhere to technical standards, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and financial performance.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal departments to resolve issues and maintain project milestones.
• Approve project budgets, manpower plans, and material requisitions.

Maintenance and Quality Assurance

• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance programs to sustain optimal performance of solar PV systems.
• Establish quality assurance protocols and conduct regular audits and inspections.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance

• Enforce adherence to occupational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.
• Conduct management reviews of safety audits, incident reports, and risk assessments.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.

Client and Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, partners, and regulatory agencies.
• Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
• Lead coordination meetings with project stakeholders and ensure timely reporting of operational progress.

Inventory, Logistics, and Asset Management

• Supervise inventory control, procurement planning, and warehouse management.
• Ensure all equipment, tools, and vehicles are properly maintained, calibrated, and accounted for.
• Oversee logistics operations for materials mobilisation and dispatch.

Documentation and Reporting

• Oversee preparation and submission of operational reports, project status updates, and management dashboards.
• Review and approve O&M reports, incident logs, and financial summaries.
• Ensure accurate documentation of field activities, inspections, and corrective actions.
