Nexus Recruitment Group is seeking a proactive Operational Risk Management Advisory Manager to lead risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring across industries. The role emphasizes translating risk insights into actionable client strategies and strengthening risk governance.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of risk frameworks, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience in risk consulting or internal audit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; certifications such as CRMA, CISA, or CIA are a plus.
• 7–10 years of experience in operational risk, internal audit, or risk consulting within professional services or regulated environments.
• Solid understanding of operational risk frameworks (Basel II/III, ISO 31000, COSO ERM) and governance structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of operational risk management engagements, including risk assessments, control evaluations, and framework development.
• Facilitate risk workshops and interviews to identify and assess operational risks across key business functions.
• Assist clients in developing or enhancing operational risk frameworks, policies, tools, and reporting structures.
• Oversee the development of risk registers, KRIs, and issue tracking mechanisms.
• Analyze operational incidents and near-misses, identify root causes, and recommend remediation strategies.
• Provide advisory support in areas such as business continuity, third‑party risk, process controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure a holistic approach to risk management.
• Supervise junior team members and ensure timely, high-quality outputs.
• Contribute to thought leadership, proposal development, and practice development initiatives.
