Job Description

The Operations Coordinator is primarily responsible for accurate data entry and record-keeping related to the plant’s production, inventory, and logistics. This role is crucial in maintaining precise records, safeguarding data, and ensuring smooth, efficient plant operations by supporting both operational and administrative processes.

Position Qualifications
  • Highest Educational Attainment: High school graduate or any equivalent
  • College Degree: College graduate is an advantage
  • Licensure Examinations Passed: N/A
General Skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical skills for handling various data and reports.
  • Good customer relations and experience working in a professional business setting.
Principal Accountabilities

In addition to following ESGVI’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include but are not limited to:

Inventory Management & Operations Support
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory and production records.
  • Safeguard company records, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.
  • Support daily plant operations with reliable data and reconciliations.
  • Provide timely, accurate reports to the Plant Supervisor/Engineer for effective decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
Safety Compliance
  • Input all transaction data into the company database, including production, purchases, and cylinder transfers.
  • Update inventory records in real-time to reflect the status of materials and finished products.
  • Encode information regarding expenses and procurement for reporting purposes.
  • Generate inventory reports and reconcile them against physical stock counts.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical inventory.
  • Assist in reconciling bulk product movements through daily stock accounting.
  • Support inquiries and provide data for production and logistics tracking.
  • Organize and maintain both physical and digital files, including delivery receipts, invoices, and production reports.
  • Ensure all transactional documents and reports are properly filed, stored, and available for audits.
  • Safeguard records and data, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and compliance with company standards.
  • Recommend improvements to data management and reporting systems for enhanced efficiency.
  • Assist in the processing of permits and licensing documentation.
  • Participate in the Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) programs and initiatives in the store, plant, and department in accordance with overall OH&S objectives and directions.
  • Follow all plant safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents or incidents.
  • Use the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as gloves, goggles, and safety shoes, at all times.
