Job summary

Cardinal Santos Medical Center in the Philippines seeks an OR Technician to prepare and operate surgical machines and equipment in accordance with the surgeon's preferences. You will assist the surgical team and manage equipment resources throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate is a high school graduate with NC II in Electronic Servicing, and has 6–12 months of OR technician experience, with BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with National Certificate II in Electronic Servicing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• 6–12 months of OR technician experience.

• Prepares all machines and equipment needed for the surgical procedure and ensures they are functioning properly according to the surgeon's preference.
• Provides technical assistance to operate all machines and specialized equipment for the surgical team during the entire procedure.
• Manages relevant material resources and quality control of machines and equipment used with surgical services.
• Minimizes the risk of infection, accidental contamination, and protects the patient from injury or harm, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the workplace.
