Job summary

Alstom seeks an Installation Worker (Operario Calificado/Operario General) to execute trackside, stations, and depots installation activities per design docs and supervisor directions. Ensure EHS compliance, PPE, and proper tooling while coordinating with team on site.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings and WMS, securing materials, and reporting risks to supervisors to protect safety, quality, and performance.

Installation Worker (Operario Calificado, Operario General)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• Perform the execution of Signaling, Telecommincation and Low Voltaje Installation - trackside, stations and depots - according to Installation Supervisor and Team Leaders orientations and instructions
• Ensure the application of EHS policies, local regulations, and professional standards ORGANISATION

Main Responsabilities

• Execute specific installation activities according the design documentation and Installation Supervisor orientation / instruction
• Comply with EHS procedures and maintains PPE defined by EHS, make sure collective protections are in place, and alert the Installation Supervisor whenever any deviation to EHS rules or EHS risk
• Ensure has the right means to perform the installation: o Ensure tools calibration at all time
• Understanding of drawings and Work Method Statement (WMS)
• Ensure availability and usage of the necessary and right material
• Accurate knowledge / training for performing the work
• Perform activities with quality: no deviation versus drawings and WMS
• Report and alert the hierarchical superior if any risk, difficulties, or issues are identified during the installation activities that may impact the safety, the quality and/or the performance of the work
• Apply the D&IS Installation and FO Process for Installation activities

Performance measurements

• Quality of installation activities (Number of Punch Points)
• Productivity as per reference Library
• Issue of Red and Yellow drawing reports

Educational Requirements

Mandatory: Primary level

Desirable: Secondary level

Experience

• Mandatory: Minimum experience on site works: 6 months
• Desirable: Knowledge of EHS on site
