University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado seeks an Open Rank Research Services Clinical Sciences Professional (Intermediate – Senior) to coordinate a large R01 trial focusing on Type 2 Diabetes in adults. You will serve as the primary site coordinator, ensuring protocol adherence, data integrity, and collaboration with investigators and staff.

The role requires onsite work at the CTRC and related facilities, with a comprehensive benefits package and strong opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field; 1 year of clinical research or related experience.
• Senior level requires 2 years of clinical research or related experience.
• Education/experience may substitute for degree on a year-for-year basis.
• Experience with electronic data capture systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Renal Research Office (RRO) is a vibrant site on north campus with 25 trials, 14 coordinators, 2 APPs, and 10 Investigators. We are passionate about research and love what we do! This position will serve as primary coordinator for a large R01 trial focusing on Type 2 Diabetes in Adults.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating and conducting research visits at Adult CTRC.
• Utilizing CTRC Scheduler.
• Transport study supplies and samples across campus in timely and safe manner.
• Scheduling eye exams at the Barbara Davis Center.
• Performing vascular testing using the AtCor SphygmoCor.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date study records and data entry.

Work Location

Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Intermediate Level:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• One (1) year of clinical research or related experience.

Senior Level:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Senior level: Two(2)years of clinicalresearchorrelatedexperience.

A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.

An advanced degree (Masters or PhD) may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis if the degree is in a field of study directly related to the work assignment.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Anticipated Pay Range

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as:

• Intermediate Level: $54,302 - $63,534
• Senior Level: $58,705 - $68,685

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
