Job summary

Coherent Corp. in Calamba, Laguna is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure materials and finished products meet approved standards. You will follow procedures, read drawings, and use measuring tools to verify quality while maintaining accurate records.

This on-site role requires attention to detail, Excel/data-entry skills, and adherence to SOPs, safety, 5S, and cleanroom practices. You will work with Production, Engineering, and QA teams to support audits and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Follow inspection procedures, work instructions, sampling plans, and acceptance criteria.
• Record inspection results accurately and maintain quality documentation.
• Identify, segregate, and report nonconforming materials or products.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, WIP, and finished products against approved standards.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.
• Maintain documentation and accuracy of inspection results.
• Escalate quality concerns to QA Engineer or supervisor.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Quality teams to meet schedules.
