Job summary

Cooee is seeking an Estimator to prepare accurate, timely quotations for fire protection services, maintenance, repair and minor works, focusing on defects identified during inspections. You will convert technician findings into priced quotes, progress them to approval, and maintain quote and asset records.

You’ll report to the service manager and state manager. Work onsite in Makati with Australian client engagement, handling complex fire protection estimates, and collaborating with suppliers

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience holding a degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Strong numerical skills and an interest in cost estimation, pricing, and working with data
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with Uptick is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines
• Willingness to learn new software, processes, and technical concepts
• Someone who can work independently while collaborating effectively with the team

Responsibilities

• Review technician reports, defect notes, photographs and Uptick recommendations.
• Prepare detailed estimates for fire service, maintenance, repair and minor works, including defects.
• Apply allowances for site access, travel and remote mobilisation.
• Issue quotes through Uptick and follow up outstanding quotes to a decision.
• Maintain accurate quote, asset and job records in Uptick.
• Liaise with Australian clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal service teams.
• Monitor current supplier pricing to support accurate estimating.
• Participate in regular reviews with the Service Manager to ensure standards and expectations are met.
• Prepare quotes for maintenance, minor works and straightforward defects within agreed parameters.
• Prepare quotes for complex or higher-value systems requiring greater estimating judgment.
