Job summary

WHR Global Consulting is seeking a Safety Officer for on-site work in Quezon City. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering background and 2–3 years of relevant experience, with CAD and safety documentation skills.

The role includes planning and supervising project activities, conducting site surveys, preparing drawings and BOQs, ensuring OSH compliance, and coordinating with clients and contractors across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Background in project engineering or construction management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Engineer is preferred.
• Certified Safety Officer (SO2/SO3) is an advantage.
• 2–3 years of experience in construction, industrial, or engineering projects.
• Able to read and interpret CAD drawings and piping layouts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise project activities from mobilization to completion.
• Conduct site inspections and develop piping layouts and isometric drawings.
• Prepare engineering drawings and BOQs with cost estimates.
• Develop methodologies, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor materials, progress, cost, and safety compliance.
• Report progress, safety observations, risks, and actions to management.
• Ensure OSH standards and conduct toolbox talks and safety audits.
• Prepare JHA, RA, method statements, and safety plans.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
