Job summary

ESOL IT SERVICES INC. seeks an experienced Automation Tester to join an onsite, 6-month contract in the Philippines. You will lead automated testing initiatives, using Katalon Studio along with Selenium/WebDriver, Java, Python or Playwright, and Appium for mobile testing.

The role is client-facing and requires local presence in Binondo, Taguig, Manila, or Makati. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in software testing with strong automation, excellent debugging skills, and the ability to

Qualifications

5–7 years of software testing/QA experience.
Hands-on automation testing with modern tools (Katalon Studio, Selenium, Java, Python or Playwright).
Experience with mobile automation using Appium (Android/iOS).
Onsite client-facing role based in the Philippines (Binondo, Taguig, Manila or Makati).

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Katalon Studio.
Design and run automated test suites for regression, smoke, and sanity tests.
Enhance automation coverage for web and mobile apps; debug flaky tests and reduce failures.
Support mobile automation testing using Appium for Android and/or iOS.
Create reusable, reliable automation scripts and scalable test assets.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and stakeholders to identify defects and report fixes.
