Job summary

SM APPLIANCE (STAR APPLIANCE CENTER, INC.) is seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team as a full-time, on-site role in the Philippines. The position focuses on accurate financial reporting and clerical support while assisting the Supervisor and/or Manager.

You will perform daily transaction audits, prepare adjusting entries, communicate questions to relevant departments, and help ensure smooth workflow by addressing inconsistencies and providing audited data to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any business related course.
• Attention to details.
• Can work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit of daily transactions in accordance with the established standard audit procedures, and provide status timely
• Analyze and submit adjusting entries to correct records based on audited amounts and proper accounts
• Communicate queries to the concerned department/s and proactively follow up and close pending issues encountered
• Submit report to Supervisor and/or Manager any inconsistency noted in the workflow process
• Collaborate with other departments particularly on the provisioning of audit documents as required and requested by other departments
