Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant safety experience in shipyard or industrial setting.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Knowledge of DOLE OSH Standards and company safety policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to plan and conduct safety orientations and training sessions.
• Experience in incident investigation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily safety activities across all shipyard operations.
• Conduct safety inspections and hazard assessments.
• Ensure compliance with DOLE OSH Standards and company safety policies.
• Implement and monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety orientations for staff.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
• Coordinate safety concerns with supervisors, engineers and management.
• Assist in emergency response planning and drills.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
• Recommend corrective and preventive measures to improve safety.
